Biblical Relationship Coaching

When you come for biblical coaching you should expect to be treated with respect, kindness, compassion and integrity.  You will not be condemned here. You will not be treated like a child. You will be treated like a courageous adult who is taking a wise step toward improving your life. You will be listened to.  Your coach will do her very best to truly understand you and to help you find solutions that are appropriate to who you are and what your life circumstances are.
When you call to schedule an appointment or make an appointment through this website, you will be scheduled for an Introductory Session.  There is no charge for this session.  This is a little like a “first release session” – you will have a chance to meet your coach and get a feel for her personality.  She will get to know you a little and hear a little about what you are struggling with and what you hope to accomplish in biblical coaching.  During this session you will be given some additional information about the coaching process and you will be asked to think about the Introductory Session before making a decision about ongoing coaching.
Biblical Coaching is a very personal process and it is essential that you feel comfortable with the person who will know so much about your life.  You must be able to be completely honest in order to benefit from coaching and so you will need to feel very safe and comfortable with your coach.  If, after the Introductory Session you feel it is not a good fit for you, there is no need to do anything further. This happens occasionally and it is nothing to be embarrassed about.
If you wish to pursue biblical coaching on a regular basis, you can call or use the website to schedule a regular coaching appointment time.  You can expect your appointments to last between 60 and 90 minutes. Generally your appointments should be weekly in order to make progress, but occasionally other arrangements are made.
Coaching can go on for a few weeks to several years.  Most coaching cases can go on for 6-18 weeks.  You and your coach will re-evaluate regularly to make sure you are making the progress you desire in the direction that is important to you.  We respect your investment of time, effort and money. All Coaching sessions can be done over the phone.

Types of Coaching Available:

  • Marriage
  • Family & Youth
  • Women in Business

Coaching is available for:
Relationships & Singles
Relationships are complex and messy. We can help you sort out the issues, prioritize and make headway on improving things.
Parenting
One of the most important jobs you’ll ever do and probably the most difficult. Your family is unique and needs a unique set of tools to work together with love, kindness and respect to build a family with excellent character and lasting connection.
-Ideally, a young person’s best coach is her own parents.  In practice this can be very challenging.  Few families breeze through their child-rearing years with no struggles.  An objective but compassionate coach can help mediate conflict and help the whole family grow in their ability to handle their unique role in the family. A family coaching success will mean a father who is a better father, a mother who is a better mother and children who are growing and thriving as they move toward adulthood.
Marriage
There are really three elements in the marriage healing process: The word of God, prayer and Godly action. even though the  husband and wife may be divided and each person has unique needs, desires and challenges.  Working with on any one of those things can improve things.  Marriage coaching encourages couples to put a high value on Christ first in their marriage, and be willing to stretch and grow and even sacrifice to make their marriage excellent.

Individual-Self Care
Women of all ages can benefit from coaching that considers their unique challenges and strengths. For coaching to be effective, your coach needs to take the time to really know you, to understand what life is like “inside your skin.” There are no one-size-fits-all coaching approaches here. You are unique; your life is different from every other person’s. Your goals in coaching will be unique as well.  Perhaps you are struggling with a bad relationship or with your adult children. Perhaps you’re grieving a significant loss.  No list can cover everything, but there is hope. You can expect to see change for the better through the coaching process.
